Jeffrey Friedland to Participate in the Cowen and Company Cannabis Colloquium

Jeffrey Friedland, author of “Marijuana: The World’s Most Misunderstood Plant,” will be participating as a panelist on the Policy Panel at the Cowen and Company Cannabis Colloquium. The event will be held on Thursday, January 12th in New York.


Cowen and Company is a research driven, growth oriented investment banking, providing debt and equity financing capabilities, strategic advice, research, and sales and trading services.


Friedland, who is also the CEO of INTIVA Inc., and Managing Director of Friedland Global Capital will be providing event attendees with copies of his book, “Marijuana: The World’s Most Misunderstood Plant.”


The Colloquium will be hosted by Vivien Azer, Cowen’s Lead Beverage, Tobacco, and Cannabis Analyst. The event will explore the growing cannabis markets. It will provide an industry overview, the exploration of regulatory issues, and insights into the operation of grows, concentrate manufacturing, dispensaries and accessory shops.


Positioned as a leading industry event, the Colloquium will include presentations, fireside chats, and panels, to an audience of institutional investors and private equity funds.


Jeffrey Friedland will be joined on the Policy Panel by Michael Safir of High Times Magazine and Allen St. Pierre, the Executive Director of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML).
