Jeffrey Friedland, author of “Marijuana: The World’s Most Misunderstood Plant,” will be speaking at the AFund Special Investments Conference in New York. Friedland Will speak on publicly-traded investment opportunities in the cannabis industry. The event will be held on Wednesday, November 30th at New York’s Princeton Club.
Friedland, who is also the CEO of INTIVA Inc., and Managing Director of Friedland Global Capital will be providing event attendees with copies of his book, “Marijuana: The World’s Most Misunderstood Plant.”
The rise in cannabis usage in the U.S. may drive legal sales to more than $7 billion in 2016. According to market research firms Arcview Market and New Frontier, U.S. marijuana sales may nearly triple by year 2020, when industry sales may climb to nearly $21 billion.
The event will be moderated by AFund fund manager, Henry Weingarten.

Jeffrey Friedland is also the CEO of Friedland Capital, which was formed in 1982.
