Mr. Friedland will participate on the panel, “Investment, Intellectual Property & Cannabis Business Model & Product Innovation.” The panel will focus on cannabis investing’s high-sensitivity to politics and continuous regulatory changes, business models that are successfully obtaining financing and “pick and shovel” strategies for investing in the emerging cannabis industry.

Jeffrey Friedland is an emerging market pioneer. Mr. Friedland was a founder of Israel Plant Sciences Ltd., a company that is participating in Israel’s innovative agriculture and medicinal plant sectors.
He is a director of CannRx, a company focused on the science of producing high-quality, efficacy driven, cannabis-based products in a complex regulatory environment.
Mr. Friedland is an adviser to the Florida-based, private equity fund, First Harvest Financial, investing in the cannabis investments in the U.S. and globally.
Jeffrey Friedland is also the CEO of the financial services firm Friedland Global Capital, which since 1979 has provided corporate finance and strategic advisory services to entrepreneurial companies.
